Well, the snow has finally ended and the sun is out. We got about 8" of snow. It is beautiful to look at, but then I have not been out yet, lol. They delayed work start time til 11 this morning, so hopefully by the time I get out the roads will be in better shape.

Snow

It has been super busy at work. We are having much more of a peak season than we did the last 2 years. We have snow! Got about 2 1/2 inches last night with another 2-3 predicted today. It is very pretty to look at. Guess I will have to get the camera out an get a few pics for some new scrapbook pages. It took me about an hour to get home last night. The roads were slick, but just took my time. Was glad I had the day off today and didn't have to drive in it this morning. Looks like it should all be over before drive time tomorrow so hopefully won't have any problems driving to work then. Hope you are all having a great day!

I never wrote about our news from last week. You all know about Earl's health problems and in Sept. he went in for a procedure to have a balloon inserted into his carotid artery to open that artery again. Well, when he went to the Dr. last week for his Doppler test (which checks the arteries to see if they are open) they told him that the artery was closing again and his chances of living thru surgery was only 5% if they tried to go into that artery again. They don't want to even try and do anything unless he starts blacking out and/or losing complete control of his arm. We all know how stuborn and bull-headed he can be, lol. I think he is realizing that he can try and do something about it by changing his lifestyle. Let's hope it works. I love him so much and don't know what I would do without him.

Today was a day from H**l. On days like this I wonder why I ever was excited about taking the promotion at work. When you follow protocol and go to the chain of command and still don't satisfy the higher ups and get your butt reamed because you did what you were told, it just makes you want to throw up your hands & call it quits. Instead, what do I do but let my emotions get the better of me and cry. The power struggles we have going on at my job right now is unbelievable. I really do love my job, but just hate days like this. Thank God, tomorrow is my day off, so hopefully I can regain my composure and try again on Thursday!

I didn't get a chance to post yesterday. So Happy Belated Birthday Tina! We love you!
It has been a busy week at work. The start of the official tax season has begun. I am enjoying a day off today to just relax and get ready for another work week. Today was laundry day, and getting to enjoy having full running water back after the freezing temps we had all over the country this last week. I for one am ready for spring.

Today was my day off for this week. I spent most of the day tagging my digi scrapping files. There is a speed scrap later this week, and it makes it sooo much easier to find things if you have your files organized. Some day, I will get them all organized!
